CBR Summer Flag Gridiron [Thu]

SKILL LEVEL: This league is for all skill levels it will suit those new to the game looking to try something new all the way to die hard NFL fans looking to play some park footy. we are all here for the same reason, to have fun, get fit, and try something different. 

TEAM SIZE: This co-ed sport is 6 aside, with a minimum of 1 male and 1 female player on the field. We recommend having a team list of at least 8-9 people to allow for subs, and players attendance. Click to view Team Roster Instructions and Default & Subs Policy. 

OUTDOOR FIELDS: The fields are outdoors, so some games may be cancelled due to rain. If games need to be rescheduled for any reason, we will notify everyone via email by 4:30pm. You can also check social media for live updates. You will always play 10 games. 

TEAM REGISTRATION:  Team rego is payable upfront, and that fee is all you will have to pay. You can choose how many people you’d like to have on the team, and you can have as many subs as you need. To view fees for Team Registration, scroll to the bottom of this page, and choose your league.

INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION: Don’t have a team? No problem, register as an individual, and we will match you with a team, cost is $125 per person. That is the only cost you will have for the season.  Individual Player FAQs and Individual Teams Policy

YOUR DEDICATED STAFF: Your Event Host is NATE!  He is in charge of running the games, teaching you the rules, and coaching you and the team as needed. Your League Manager is Donald!  Contact him about changes to the schedule, or any other questions. 

WHAT TO BRING:  We provide all the equipment you need. Wear normal runners, active wear. Make sure you bring a black, and a white t-shirt each week. Your team do have the option to nominate a team colour, but make sure you talk to your League Manager before you order anything.  

GETTING THERE: Dickson Playing Fields are located just off Antil Street and next to Dickson College. There is plenty of parking onsite, if you decide to drive. If you are on public transit the bus 2, 937 and 936 all stop right out the front on Antil Street. There are public toilets on site for you to get changed. Look for the large Urban Rec flag as you approach.

RESERVE YOUR TEAM SPACE FOR FREE: If you’re in charge of orgaising the team, you might be still collecting everyone’s cashola to be able to register. To make it easy, reserve a team spot for free. Shoot us an email canberra@urbanrec.com.au. Then, you’re on the reserves list, and we’ll keep you in the loop so you don’t miss out.
