Winter Aussie Rules Inner West [Thu]

SKILL LEVEL: This league is for all skill levels. Learner, beginner, experienced, or intermediate, we are all here for one reason, and that's to have fun, get fit, and try something different. The league will be levelled, and all teams will enjoy healthy matched competition.


TEAM SIZE: There are 7 people required on the field at all times. Minimum 2 of either gender at any time. We recommend having a team list of at least 10 people to allow for subs, and players attendance. Click to view Team Roster Instructions and Default & Subs Policy. 


OUTDOOR FIELDS: The fields are outdoors, meaning some weeks, we may need to cancel due to rain. (expect 1-3 weeks rain-outs). If games need to be rescheduled for any reason, we will notify everyone via email by 4:30pm. You can also check Social Media for live updates. You will always play 10 games. 


TEAM REGISTRATION:  Team rego is payable upfront, and that fee is all you will have to pay. You can choose how many people you’d like to have on the team, and you can have as many subs as you need. INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION: Don’t have a team? No problem, register as an individual, and we will match you with a team, cost is $125 per person. That is the only cost you will have for the season.  Individual Player FAQs and Individual Teams Policy


INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION (JUST PLAY): If you're looking for the next level of team management, Just Play offer individual registration into this league. YOUR DEDICATED STAFF: Your Event Host is Elliot!  He is in charge of running the games, teaching you the rules, and coaching you and the teamas needed. Your League Manager is Lindsay!   Contact her about changes to the schedule, or any other questions. 


WHAT TO BRING:  We provide all the equipment you need. Wear normal runners, active wear. Make sure you bring a black, and a white t-shirt each week. Your team do have the option to nominate a team colour, but make sure you talk to your League Manager before you order anything.  


GETTING THERE: This field is at the meeting points of Newtown, St Peters, Alexandria, and Marrickville. It is best accessed via May Street and really close to St Peters train station. It’s accessible via buses along King Street. If you drive the there is parking around the fields, but the best spot is Council St near Goodsell Street. The grounds have toilets.
